Hit the Trails in Eco-Style

For those of us who discovered our eco-groove by trekking in the great outdoors, we often feel fleeced when it comes to dressing for a camping trip. Finding warm, insulated garments made from natural, organic fibers can be as challenging as searching for a healthy vegan entrée at Applebee’s. Fortunately, a company called icebreaker,
headquartered in paradise-found New Zealand, is committed to making mountain-top shivers a thing of the past.
Icebreaker has created a new line of 100% pure merino
intimate wear, called NATURE, which will warm you inside and out. Not only do these cozy garments feel soft and breathable against your skin, but their “entire supply chain, starting with the merino growers, is ethical and sustainable.” In fact, “when you’ve finished with your NATURE you can plant it and it will naturally return to the earth.”
While we don’t foresee growing tired of these surprisingly sexy, snuggly underthings, we wholly embrace the cradle to cradle ethos.
