Keep the Water in and the Chemicals out!

Finding vintage furniture and green building supplies is getting easier by the second, but I seriously couldn’t find a decent shower curtain. Bamboo towels? Check. Recycled toilet paper? Check. But what about the ubiquitous curtain? West Elm to the rescue! With an ever expanding offering of eco-goods, West Elm has the solution for keeping precious water inside the stall instead of on the floor.

West Elm and its sister company Pottery Barn have been introducing more and more organic and sustainable items recently, which means that everyone will now have access to beautiful, affordable and environmentally friendly design.

Available in three bold, earthy colors for Fall, and in other prints, the shower curtains retail for $49 and are machine washable.

It doesn’t do much “green” good to offer organic cotton and sustainable shower curtains that still require plastic liners (also sold on the site). I was hoping you’d found a truly “green” solution that didn’t need the ubiquitous plastic.
