Farm to Face
The newest thing in organic farming is a shoot-off of the farm-to-table movement… we’re calling it the farm-to-face movement, and it’s being pioneered by the lovely Tata Harper. After all, 60% of what you put on your skin gets absorbed into your blood stream, so it’s equally important that we nourish our epidermis with the same quality ingredients that we use to feed our bodies. Tata’s skincare line is the result of a five year global quest to create an exquisitely natural skincare line that provides powerful results without any of the harmful side effects.
The product line is made at Tata’s farm in Vermont - organic ingredients grown only steps away from the lab, where medical quality botanicals are being tested and mixed. Everything from the creation, formulation and customer service functions of the brand are done right there, and while members of the team do spend time in New York, LA, Madrid and other spots for research, they all return to Vermont for the real work.
One look at a product from the line (like the incredibly hydrating rebuilding moisturizer or the restorative eye cream) and it’s easy to see why the small bottles pack such a powerful punch. The small aromatic treatments (available for stress, irritability, or bedtime) contain potent essential oils to immediately calm and soothe the senses with a small drop. Most conventional skincare products contain only a handful of active ingredients, and then are filled with cheap, synthetic chemicals that try to emulate what the real thing would do. All of Tata’s ingredients are selected for a reason, with some products containing over 25 active ingredients! These high grade natural ingredients (like calendula, spanish lavender, and narcissus flower) can be expensive to source, store and formulate, but the results will leave your skin feeling young, supple and rejuvenated like never before.
