On Days of Unwash

Aside from deciding that Lulu Organics hair powder shall forever have a place on our bathroom shelf, we’ve also decided the company has some of the best advertising we’ve seen for natural products. The gorgeous european vintage packaging is beautiful - the front sticker would look incredible as a large poster. And rather than market the hair powder as a savior for days when you’ve slept through the alarm and are running out the door, or for a quick fix when you’ve O.D. on styling creme, the line simply states that the product is “a light powder for hair on days of unwash.” So civilized.

Also available in a travel size, Lulu Organics hair powder contains organic ingredients and essential oils and is talc-free (a common ingredient in “dry shampoo” that has been linked to ovarian cancer). Whether you use the powder as an alternative on “days of unwash” or keep it as a quick fix for mornings that don’t go as planned, it’s a one-product-wonder to stay stocked up on.

I love the idea and the different scents are great but $30? That is a bit ridiculous even if it is organic.
