You’re Invited: Nokia’s Mobile Musings, The Age of E-Waste

What has happened to your old Nintendo Game Boy? What did you do with your last printer? How many old phones do you have sitting in your drawers?

You may have heard about electronic waste and most likely in your lifetime you will accrue e-waste when you purchase new electronic gadgets. But, what do we know about the lifecycle of an electronic gadget, or where they typically end up when we’re all finished with them?

Join ecofabulous’ Caitlin Bristol as she moderates a conversation with sustainability experts from high-tech and see how they address recycling programs now, and their thoughts on the future of e-waste.

Hosted by Nokia, the event will offer a special mobile phone recycling take back, so if you’ve got old phones you don’t want, bring ‘em with you so they can be recycled in an environmentally sound manner.

Location: Nokia Silicon Valley Office
200 S. Mathilda Ave., Sunnyvale
Date: April 28th – Time: 6:30pm-8:30pm

Please don’t forget to RSVP!
