VeeV’s Toast the Planet, Make a Pledge Campaign
Big fans of both helping the planet and having a little fun, we love what our friends over at VeeV are serving up for Earth Month. With the goal to get 50,000 consumers to pledge a sustainable act that will better the planet, VeeV’s “Toast the Planet, Make a Pledge” campaign is out to plant 500 trees in NYC. Pledge suggestions include things like “replacing old bulbs for sexy new CFL’s” or “get over my hangover and hit the Sunday am farmer’s market for local produce” - there’s plenty of sassy, yet sustainable vows to choose from, or feel inspired to create one that’s all yours. Just know that when 50,000 pledges have been made, VeeV will be planting 500 trees in the Big Apple, getting the city that much closer to their New York Restoration Project goal of planting 1 million tress by 2017. As an added bonus, a pledge automatically gets you entered to win cool prizes, like delicious VeeV or a trip for two to attend the NYRP’s 500,000 Tree Planted Ceremony (we’ll raise our açaí liquor to that!).
