Yoga. Music. Fillmore.
Turning your down dog into gettin’ down on the dance floor doesn’t happen during most yoga sessions, but we were fortunate enough to stretch to the beat of a different drum underneath the dim chandeliers at San Francisco’s Fillmore music venue last weekend. Wanderlust (a one-of-a-kind festival bringing yoga, music and nature together) and Yoga Tree teamed up for an event to celebrate the sacred Hindu discipline, fantastic live music and about every tempo in between.
Shiva Rea helped “pass the mojo around the world” by directing the crowd on a yoga journey turned dancing your mats off – thanks to the rockin’ live tunes of SF’s own Steph Snyder along with renowned Grateful Dead drummer Mickey Hart (to name a couple). These amazing adventures are popping up all over the country but we are looking forward to the 3rd annual Wanderlust Festival happening in Tahoe this coming July 28th- 31st, featuring music from Michael Franti & Spearhead, Girl Talk, The Wailers and much more!
