Look What Came in the Mail Today…

The real deal. Zem ordered a pair of vintage Derek Lam boots and a pre-loved t-shirt dress from eBay seller Corri McFadden of e-Drop Off Express (remember the beautifully styled goods in last year’s MODERN LIVING Showhouse closet?), and they came in one of eBay’s green shipping boxes, complete with a little note from Corri!

Designed to be reused again and again (if a box gets reused at least five times, it will protect nearly 4,000 trees, save 2.4 million gallons of water and conserve enough energy to power 49 homes for a year), Zem’s deciding what she plans to sell on eBay next. Who knows, the next stop on this 100% recycled, FSC-certified corrugated cardboard box’s journey could be your house! To track a box’s history online just go to thebox.ebay.com and enter in the unique ID code.

p.s. Tune into NBC LA on Thursday April 21st if you’re interested in learning more…

It is in little things that are multiplied by millions of users who do not think about it that waste is created that impact in this case the air we breathe.
This is the best example how one box can save precious trees that are not protected enough by the general public because the tree in my yard cause me to rake leaves. At least this box saves trees without the pettyful complaints.
