The burrito pros of Chipotle are whipping up more than stuffed deliciousness these days — the chain has just announced its partnership with Loomstate, the style pioneer (and ecofab fave) dedicated to creating apparel made from 100% certified organic cotton using socially-responsible methods of production. It’s a natural fit: Loomstate’s mission certainly partners well with Chipotle’s dedication to providing organic and sustainably-raised food (after all, food and clothing material both ultimately start from the same place — the farm). In fact, Loomstate has been Chipotle’s employee uniform provider since 2010… meaning that that guac-topped veggie bowl you recently ordered wasn’t just responsibly created — it was also served up by a Chipotlean donning certified organic cotton.
