Creating Waves

Growing up, eco-entrepreneur Brian Linton was a guy not only with a passion for scuba diving, but also a boy with 30 fish tanks (repeat: 30 fish tanks) in his bedroom. So it’s no wonder that his love for undersea life led him to found a place like United By Blue.

Moved by the idea of a company that didn’t just pass money on to conserve oceans but instead took concrete environmental action, he started a business that makes a difference, seaside and beyond. In fact, for every product sold, United By Blue now removes one pound of trash from oceans and waterways through UBB organized and hosted cleanups.

So what’s on tap? Style that will keep you cruisin’: Organic cotton tees for guys and gals in colors inspired by weathered buildings in harbor towns. Clean-cut organic cotton canvas tote bags and messenger bags. Simple braided sailing bracelets and necklaces made from repurposed vintage keys.

It’s a good look on everyone — including our oceans. Support the cause at UnitedByBlue.com (and be sure to look for a cleanup near you!).
