Fairytale Fashion by Unicorn Design

unicorn_design

Like the legendary creature it was named after, clothing from Unicorn Design is a little bit fanciful, a lot romantic. French designer Sophie Rieu founded the label in 2005, her skill set lying in traditional European weaving methods and bringing an air of elegance into everything she produces. Rieu is also an expert in ethical fashion, which is why each of her garments are made of the most luxurious GOTS-certified organic cotton, produced by ateliers run by small families in Ireland and Poland.

If ever there were dresses made for frolicking in a mythical garden—or, at least, at an outdoor tea party—the slinky numbers by Unicorn fit the bill. The Valentine dress will nip in your waist, with a slightly flared skirt reminiscent of designs from the ’50s. Or, you could opt for the very Mad Men-like Petal design, whose draped bust line serves as a clever figure enhancer. While the clothing might seem like the stuff of fashion lore, rest assured that Unicorn isn’t the stuff of style fables: they’re 100% eco, 100% real.
