Maybe you can’t justify the purchase of that classic Jag… but a handmade one-of-a-kind jacket made out of the reclaimed vintage upholstery from a Jaguar? At least it wouldn’t require a parking spot.

Rocker guys and gals alike will swoon for Platinum Dirt’s line of jackets and bags made from the interiors of retired classic cars. Nothing short of a wearable piece of art, each jacket has a unique “VIN” plate embedded on the chest, and a hood ornament zipper pull. By using the leather upholstery to create a new, lasting piece of apparel, the company is making sure less of these treasured cars go into landfill. It’s a fashion statement that says, “Don’t mess with me, or the environment.”
