The increasing use of veggie tanned leather (nearly 75% of the collection), FSC-certified wood and cork, and strict utilization of lead and nickel-free hardware prove a firm commitment to eco-progress. And for the footprints they do leave, Coclico offsets the impact by using local materials whenever possible and by purchasing carbon credits from Native Energy.

The girls attest they are strongly committed to searching for more sustainable materials and methods of doing business, believing that to “philosophize about truly good design, our work can’t end with a shoe.”
