Now that the major gift shopping is done, it's time to stuff those stockings! We've got plenty of ideas for little green gifts, many of which you can pick up at a local Whole Foods or pharmacy store (with an eco section). Here's to helping Santa go sustainable this year!
Yes to Carrots Lip Butter, Set of 5: Brightly colored and beautifully moisturizing lip balms in five flavors: carrot, berry, citrus, melon and mint ($12.99).
Stainless Steel Reusable Straw: Never throw a straw away again! These stainless steel reusable straws are great for kids and adults alike (set of 4 for $11).
EcoTools Bamboo Brushes Set: EcoTools is an earth-friendly line of make-up brushes using bamboo, a rapidly renewable resource, for the handles. Combine that with cruelty-free, taklon bristles with metallic ferrule made from recycled aluminum cans and you have a bounty of bam-beautiful brushes (mini set of 6 for $6.95).
Nostalgia Artisan Bath Soap: Pure essential oils, organic vegetable oils and organic herbs make up these sweet, aromatic soap bars. Plus they're packaged in the cutest recycled paper we've seen ($8)!
PACT Organic Cotton Underwear: Everyone needs it, but these eco-friendly winter light patterned underwear will be the best "staple" gift they receive ($18-$26).
ZOYA Nail Polish: With over 300 hundred hot colors, there is always a new set of trendy shades being released. Try the Zoya Color Finder to search for your perfect shade – choose a color family, and a finish type and how you want the results sorted and the Color Finder will generate a customized list... perfect for helping Santa ($7).
Earthlust's Reusable Antler Water Bottle: Earthlust bottles are made from high quality #304 food grade stainless steel, which is naturally safe unlined – no need to worry about chips and dents! Designs are printed with non-toxic paint and most of the art is limited edition, so snatch up this wintery antler bottle quickly ($16).
Hammocks & High Tea Linden Sachets: Beautifully scented organic cotton sachets will freshen up that stocking in no time! Continue to use in a sock drawer or as a car freshener throughout the year. Available in lavender or lemon verbena / lemongrass (2 for $20).
Buddha Nose Bodhi Balm: Longtime fans of Buddha Nose organic beauty products, we're hoping Santa slips a little bodhi balm in our stocking for a luxe moisturizer that will also calm during this crazy season ($24).
FluffyCo Tapes Eco Wallet: Made of organic cotton and hemp, this classic tape wallet opens in billfold style to reveal a sweet faux grain six pocket interior ($19).
Laura Langley Eco Sleep Eye Mask: A beautiful bamboo and organic cotton eye mask for those much needed beauty zzz's ($20).
Weleda Body Oils Essential Kit: A variety of travel size essential oils to replenish, balance and protect - you can slip the whole kit in one stocking or break open the package and distribute amongst a few ($14.99).
Vosges Organic Chocolate Bars: Like the Weleda kit above, Santa can gift this entire organic chocolate library to one very good girl or boy, or split it up and distribute amongst the clan. With everything from milk bars to magic mushroom bars, there's a little something for everyone ($29).
J. Fein Designs Recycled & Reinvented Rings: There's nothing like waking up to something gold and glittery Christmas morning. J.Fein rings give all the bling without breaking Santa's bank ($30-$40).
Night Owl Paper Goods Handmade Plushies: From one of our favorite eco-friendly card companies comes a set of adorable handmade plush owls (ok, so we're biased!). Using thrifted sweaters, repurposed wood and letterpress bits, these are the cutest dolls we've seen ($28-$44)! |

I try to only shop green, Thx for this list! Can I add one more? The people who started this company are doing it just to raise money for conservation of wildlife. The Microlite is their product, tiny cool LEd light, great for illuminating your remote control, front door keyhole, behind the stereo system, etc..Supporting them will help them help wildlife. Thanks!
