Sleeping Beauty

As much as we’re constantly complaining about not getting enough sleep, truth is that our hours of shut-eye are likely still amounting to a minimum of 30% of our life! So when your head does hit the pillow (even if it’s much later than you’d hoped), make sure the resting spot isn’t going to contribute to more headaches or health issues.

Choosing an eco-friendly pillow is one of the simplest “eco upgrades” you can do for your humble abode. With a plethora of options, we’re still partial to the firm, yet surprisingly resilient natural latex (they bounce back easily, and never need fluffing). They’re great for allergy sufferers since natural rubber resists common germs, dust mites, mildew and mold.

On a recent family trip, Zem returned touting her favorite find - new latex pillows from Nature’s Rest. We were able to find them online… and on sale nonetheless! Our preferences lie with the plush style, but each size is available in “firm” for all the hard sleepers out there.
