Coveting Coco

Thanksgiving is past (though leftovers are likely to last well into next week) and it’s time to officially turn the focus towards the holidays. While you still may need a little break from all the traveling mayhem and family entertaining, there’s no better way to relax and regroup than with a cup of morning java and Coco Eco Magazine’s December Holiday issue, which conveniently debuts today.

Editor In Chief, Anna Griffin, started the online magazine Coco Eco for all the ecoists out there that share in her belief that the environment doesn’t need to suffer as a result of being fabulous. This month’s issue contains an interview with English fashionista Louise Roe, a holiday fashion story featuring eco and vintage couture clothing, and an eco glam beauty story highlighting gorgeous party make-up with an extra review of winter face saving products from Emma Pezzack of Futurenatural (we’re huge fans).

If that’s not enough, this issue also contains holiday recipes, an article on the true cost of Christmas to the environment, and a gift giving guide with recommendations from four eco-style mavens, including our own Zem Joaquin. And if you are ready to start planning next years tropical eco-vacation or you simply want to bag the consumerism this Christmas and put the funds toward some quality family bonding abroad, make sure to read the travel piece from hunky Darren Moore (from Adrian Grenier’s show AlterEco) on cycling through Phuket, Thailand.

So start your Monday off right – paper-free and with a big dose of inspiration from Coco Eco Magazine. Finally, a pleasure that isn’t guilty!
