I myself had already resolved to stop using as many disposable food containers and food products throughout my day, but I wish there was some way to track how much I'm improving over last year. Is there some website out there where you could mark each time you used your own bottle or bag, or walked to work, etc...? It could aggregate the data and show you how your whole community or city is doing! It could help people visualize how much petroleum or gas they save over a year every time they make the green choice. Then we can talk about an iPhone app to make it easier to note these things on the go! These are helpful suggestions. Previously I hardly ever remembered to return my grocery bag to the car. When I did remember, I then forgot to take it into the store until too late in the checkout lane. If I'm busy with dinner or something I throw the emptied Chico bag on my [purse where I can restuff & stick it in late (takes 15 seconds). I LOVE MY CHICO BAG. Here’s to the Chico bag.
