The next generation of eco-leaders are taking charge in the fight against climate change, a group of ambitious teens that us adults can definitely take a cue from. Just look to the youths involved in Teens Turning Green for shining examples of students who are applying their energy and eco-savvy toward making a difference in the world.
Green University is an amazing two day eco-summit offering select teens the chance to interact with and learn from leaders in the field. Seasoned experts are chosen to educate and inspire participants, passing on key knowledge through one-on-ones, TED talks, and special mixing sessions. If you know an awesome teen who would jump at such an opportunity, tell them to check out Project Green Challenge online. There’s still time to take part in the 30-day event for the chance to win major prizes, including college scholarships and dorm room makeovers, with 10 finalists chosen to attend Green U. in early December. The grand prize winner will be awarded a one-of-a-kind prize package and the chance to work with TTG over the coming year. Pass the word on to all the clever and ethically-minded teens you know.
