2009 Gorgeous & Green Gala

This year’s Gorgeous & Green gala to benefit Global Green USA was another smashing success. The evening kicked off with an incredible intimate VIP dinner featuring O Organics prepared by Iron Chef Mourad Lahlou, Chef Louis Maldonado, and Pastry Chef Melissa Chou of Michelin Star Aziza Restaurant in San Francisco, followed by a private acoustic performance by the talented Matt Nathanson. As the evening continued, world-renowned artist Sage Vaughn presented his paintings benefiting Global Green while guests danced to tunes from DJ Donovan, sipping sustainable cocktails from 360 Vodka and wine from Newton Vineyard. And once again, the eco chic fashion show produced by Clarissa Nicosia and Lily Achatz was a stunning showcase of fashion-forward trends, innovative fabrics and responsible design. 	Nina Skarra & Blank Verse: From Nina Skarra’s luxury ready-to-wear collection, paired with a Blank Verse glovlette.
	Sara Shepherd & Litter: British-born designer, Sara Shepherd dress with a Litter SF draping gold shoulder piece constructed from vintage chains.
	Robin Brouillette: A stunning silk gown from Robin Brouillette (similar to the dress Zem was wearing!).
	Leila Hafzi: These incredible silk gowns by Leila Hafzi are painted by hand in Nepal; 18 karat recycled gold necklace with responsibly sourced gemstone by Amber Marie Bently.
	Livity & PACT: Livity’s signature wool fedora with PACT’s organic cotton, Forest Ethics style briefs.
