  • Best way to nurture yourself in the morning is to make a green smoothie. @AnnaGetty taught us that & it really does rock the morn!
  • I took the time to cut up a bunch of fresh veggies drizzled in olive oil w pinch of sea salt. So much more nurturing than a salad!
  • Really fabulous shoes that tread lightly on the planet make us ecofab girls feel fantastic, even nurtured...mani/pedi nice too!

Follow the Rainbow

leilahafzi

For those that attended this year’s Gorgeous & Green gala, you’ll know the exact show-stopping silk rainbow-colored dresses we’re talking about – the handpainted floor-length gowns that graced the runway in the brightest blues, fuschia, golden yellow and more, some with delicate butterflies, others with intricate ruching – these were the stunning works of Leila Hafzi.

With roots in Norway, the talented Leila Hafzi has never lost sight of her initial mission – “to introduce organic and ethical trade to the high end fashion industry.” The ethereal line (with the most incredible color gradation!) is produced in Nepal, employing the local community and serving as a beacon to the entire global network – that a company can work to promote human rights, and be environmentally conscious, and create the most luxurious of red carpet style.
