Nature Approved Apparel
Punxsutawney Phil may have doomed us to six more weeks of winter, but that doesn’t mean we’ve stopped longing for lazy days in sweet sunshine. Good thing hessnatur’s Spring/Summer 2010 Collection, now available online, gives us that little shiny ray of hope that we need to push through these last dark days.
In addition to organic cotton and linen summer staples, like tees, tanks, and skirts, bright colors and stunning silhouettes make up this season’s pieces, including this silk georgette gown. Creative director Miguel Adrover also takes a creative cue from nature with cute silk/cotton blends in his collection, offering everything from jumpsuits to harem pants.
The simple, comfortable pieces are certainly worthy of celebration (we’re obsessed with the organic cotton velour jacket in plum and the equestrian inspired organic cotton patched leggings), but it’s hessnatur’s longstanding commitment to the environment that garners extra praise: longtime supporters of organic farming practices, hessnatur utilizes natural fabrics that haven’t been touched by synthetic fertilizers or pesticides. Just the thing to put that extra spring in your step til March 20!
