It’s on the inside that counts, right? Well… if sipping an organic cocktail or soda, we think it’s of equal importance to consider the qualities of the drink vessel. Regardless of what medium you use, whether tumbler, martini or margarita, we’ve found stylish options made of recycled glass:

    Fire and Light makes gorgeous recycled glassware, and it’s a lot more colorful, you can find it online at http://www.edenhome.com or they have a list of retail locations at http://www.fireandlight.com. I got some for a friend for Christmas, they loved it. Hopefully they return the favor next year.

    Check out http://www.greenglass.com Theses folks have been around for a long time and offer quite a number of lines using recycled glass. Website also lists retail outlets.

    All to the good — except that a wine glass should be invisible to the lips and palate, unlike a beer glass that complements the inherent tang. Wine from a Ball jar, original or recycled, is a tasteless idea.
