Food, Kids:
It’s All Good
At ecofabulous, we’re big fans of ecomom, an online retailer committed to providing moms with the world’s best, healthiest products. ecomom’s mission is to make it easier for moms to make healthy choices — and we’re always glad when we can spread the word about companies that make a direct impact on the lives of so many moms.
After years of planning and months of behind-the-scenes work, ecomom is officially launching the “it’s all good” giving program. This means every single purchase made on the site will feed a hungry child for one day with the same organic, gmo-free, and nutritious food sold on ecomom.
This week, ecomom is delivering meals to 25,000 children. The goal is to feed 100,000 hungry children in the U.S. this year — and with your help, the number of children they can feed will continue to grow. This is especially important since over 16 million children live in food-insecure households and one in five American children will receive emergency food assistance this year.
So how can you help? Here are two ways to pitch in:
1. Place an order on ecomom.com. (Every single order, no matter how big or small, feeds one child for one day.)
2. Spread the word (Facebook it, tweet it, even pin it!) to other moms so they’ll consider purchasing at ecomom the next time they shop for their family.
We hope you’ll take a minute to learn about the difference we can make together on childhood hunger and malnutrition in America. Find out more about ecomom’s partners and program by visiting ecomom.com/itsallgood.
