Never thought the day would come when you’d find yourself coveting a toilet? Well think again. The hot pink self-composting toilet from Envirolet is enough to make any fabulous green girl swoon.
With over 90% of all toilet waste being water, you can save up to 75,000 gallons of water each year by using a self-composting toilet – good for the planet and great for your water bill. The remaining 10% of toilet waste is organic material which can be recycled into natural compost with very little effort. While they do run more than a traditional toilet (ranging from $1,700-$6k), your reduced water bill will offset the cost dramatically.
