Holiday Guides, Kitchen Confidential:

Anna Getty’s “I’m Dreaming of a Green Christmas”

Last week at Anna Getty’s SF book launch, hosted by Zem Joaquin and ecofabulous, guests gathered at Parc 55 hotel to enjoy hors d’ oeuvres from cityhouse restaurant and sip on VeeV holiday cocktails, MateVeza beer, Buena Vista Carneros wine, as well as Speare from PlumpJack wines. But the biggest treat was the lovely Anna Getty herself - heiress, environmental advocate, writer, television personality, chef, mother, organic living expert and yogini extraordinaire. Anna believes that being green is not a trend but a way of life and in her 180-page book, “I’m Dreaming of a Green Christmas” she shares her favorite holiday projects and recipes.

The book itself (printed on 100% post-consumer recycled paper) is filled with ideas for gifts, decorations and recipes that use less and mean more. Without sacrificing style (a true ecofab girl at heart!) or tradition, Anna shows readers how to reduce their carbon footprint and save money. We’ll also note that the forward was written by ecofabulous’ own Zem Joaquin!

Great for gifts, coffee table decor, invaluable recipes and eco holiday guidance, “I’m Dreaming of a Green Christmas” is at the top of our wish list this season (in case Santa was wondering…).

This week Anna made her way back down to LA for another launch party with EcoStiletto at Environment furniture - stay tuned for more book signings to meet the talented author!
