Netting a Better Return

The computer industry is in high speed trying to cater to those of us consumers that consider our footprint with every purchase.
Asus plans to sell a small desktop called the Eee Box which will feature an eco-friendly build while performing to the same specifications as similar conventional computers. The nettop (as it is called) will consume 90% less power than its peers, making sure that your desktop is as sustainable as possible. Asus has promised the Eee Box will meet strict rules set by Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) and Waste Electronic and Electrical Equipment at a price of only $429! And if that price doesn’t get you glued to your screen, Asus will feature the fastest WiFi 802.11n on all models, essentially meaning a 30-minute video will download in only 44 seconds.
Of course, we also recently wrote about Dell when they introduced the Studio Hybrid model, which is the greenest pc in their line-up. Not only does the computer use a lot less energy, it’s made from 95% recycled materials and comes equipped with a system-recycling kit when you’ve maxed out your usage.
With at least two significantly better options available, it seems high time to put the beasts to sleep.
Happy surfing, Svilen
