Because a Good Man is Hard to Find

EcoFab_LoveCo1

With National Singles Awareness Day (couples may refer to Feb 14th as Valentine’s) in the not too distant past, we were thrilled to hear of the release of The Love Co., an online boyfriend recycling program. When a man has reached the end of his useful relationship life with you, simply create a profile and enter in his description (strengths, weaknesses, etc.) and he will be uploaded into a database where other women can reclaim him. Modeled after the popular Free-cycle Network, this no-fee transaction means you’re preventing old boyfriends from being sent to the landfill – the EPA lists this category as having one of the highest methane levels, for every boyfriend diverted, it’s the equivalent of 78 trees!

In support of the online database, urban cities are getting ready to unroll the “pink bin” program to facilitate the ease and convenience of this he-waste. Not unlike e-waste, if he-waste is not disposed of properly, the men can off-gas, leaching toxic attitude and methane into the environment. Click here for a listing of proposed “pink bin” locations in your city and make sure to check out The Love Co. already existing database, because a good man is hard to find!
