From Shovel to Fork

Everyone has been talking about the success of the huge Slow Food event that took over San Francisco a couple of weeks ago. If you missed it or just cannot get enough, on October 5th, beneath a harvest moon at the extraordinary Barndiva Gardens in Healdsburg, Calif., Fork & Shovel is collaborating with Slow Food Russian River to throw an evening to be remembered. This is not merely an opportunity to show support for Sonoma’s premier chefs and farmers collaborative, but also a night of unique activities including a jug band, Farm Roulette and an interactive food shed walk. Of course there will also be amazing fare - appetizers and a five course, wine-paired dinner grown, cooked and served by Fork & Shovel sustainable chef and farmer teams.
