Product Spotlight:

History in the Making

forestbound

Using exclusively found and salvaged materials (designer Alice Saunders literally scavenges for the fabrics with her own two hands at flea markets and estate sales), forestbound bags are nothing if not a small slice of history.

With some fabrics pre-dating WWII and historic hardware from New England, each bag is assembled by hand to reveal an extremely durable (we can personally vet for this!) piece that only seems to perfect with time.

From laptop sleeves ($85) to shoulder bags ($198), utility pouches ($54), and full-sized weekend carryalls ($280), the collection is designed for the rugged individualist, male or female.

Looks awesome and trendy. Thanks for this post. If you’re looking for a cheaper and greener alternative to this type of PVC bag, then check out this video I saw on Youtube. It’s about recycled PVC bags from billboard ads. http://youtu.be/_-j74UKurr0
