Product Spotlight:

Mommy Knows Dressed

Jump aside, Gymboree. There’s a new sheriff in the toddler tailoring town, and she goes by the name of Studio Luvette.

An online boutique dedicated to crafting exquisite children’s clothing made from recycled cashmere and wool, Studio Luvette aims to provide conscious apparel for your little one with a meticulous eye for style.

We’re especially captivated by the butter yellow repurposed cashmere baby pants and purple chicken toddler dress (chickens are the new family dog out here!), and though these pastel pieces are perfect for spring, see also the primary-colored “bum sweater” for a vibrant diaper concealer (for a little girl, Studio Luvette offers a teal “skort”).

Put through an “obsessive love-filled creative process involving washing in hot water, shrinking to various degrees, ironing, cutting and sewing until a unique, little bitty, stinkin’ cute something appears, like magic,” these miniature models of eco-friendly apparel are the well-made, customizable baby duds that not only a mother could love.
