Puff Daddy

Whether you’re an avid alpine climber, planning a special holiday trip to the Himalayas, or live in a city that’s just plain chilly, you need apparel with a little added insulation (and unfortunately, the extra pounds you packed on over winter months aren’t going to cut it). Thankfully, Patagonia, a company devoted to their Common Threads Initiative (facilitating garment recycling to extend product life and avoid the final landfill destination) has you covered.

By offering the light-weight men’s Nano Puff Pullover, a windproof and water-resistant outerwear piece made from 100% recycled polyester, the company is essentially eliminating all other feasible (and environmentally irresponsible) options. We think the pearly silver “Fog” tint is perfect for becoming one with the bunny slopes - never has your snow man looked so stylish! Also available for women, the Nano Puff comes in an eye-popping acai purple with all of the same hip and heat-trapping properties as well as being waterproof enough to fend off rain and having a highly compressible polyester insulation.

Of all the places you’ll go in your new jacket, the most important journey is the one it made to get to you. Take advantage of the Footprint Chronicles feature which lets you “track the impact of a specific Patagonia product from design through delivery.” You’ll be able to research the complete footprint of your jacket before you buy it, including the number of miles traveled, its CO2 emissions (the amount of waste created in making it and the energy used in its creation).
