Divine Secrets of the Yala Sisterhood

yala-womens-clothes

Born from humble beginnings, Yala is a worthy project undertaken by two English teachers who have embarked on a journey towards creating “clothes you really live in.” Humble and resourceful enough to stitch together two sheets to sleep on during their travels, Yala’s founders knew what it meant to feel at home and ready for the next adventure, all while being conscious of the home we inhabit: the planet.

Oeko-Tex certified and dyed with low-impact dyes, the Bamboo Dreams® line for women is indeed ethereal. One of our very favorite pieces is the gorgeously flirtatious Zoe Gathered Top ($54) in the warm and appetite-whetting Truffle, which is so soft you’ll swear it was made from clouds—appropriate for a Dream collection.

For when you’re shirtless, however, the beach towel ($39.50) is a fine alternative for wrapping yourself in bamboo-derived bliss (also known as viscose), and the koi/floral pattern is both unique and universally appealing for a girl (or boy!) seeking serene, stylish coverage and comfort. Though you likely don’t need any more convincing of Yala’s creative consciousness, comb through their many eco-friendly efforts, such as carbon-neutral shipping. Shopping is green again!
