Plug In, San Fran
Save the date, SF: on September 17 and 18, San Francisco is learning how to plug it, charge it, and drive it at the first-ever EV Expo, a showcase of the newest in plug-in and electric vehicles and EV charging stations, held in celebration of Electric Vehicle Week. You’ll get a chance to see cars from every major auto manufacturer (think Toyota’s new Prius Plug-in, BMW’s ActiveE, an extended-range electric pickup truck from VIA Motors, and tons more), test drive the cars, and learn about Ecotality’s line of Blink Electric Vehicle Charging Stations. It’s just one way you can help the city become the EV Capital of America. Stop by Justin Herman Plaza starting at 11am on Monday, September 17 – admission is free. (And the cars are fabulously carbon-free.)
