Tap that Water
We all know that using tap water saves thousands of plastic bottles each year, but choosing an efficient filter for your home will ensure that the water you drink is as tasty as can be (free of yucky bacteria and chemical residue). We used Everpure’s ViruPure™ Filtration system in the 2010 MODERN LIVING Showhouse at Dwell on Design.
It’s thorough water purification and reduction of filter-replacements impressed a steady stream of attendees – their patented technology is “like packing nearly six filters into one canister.” We used the filtered water in the SodaStream system for a delicious carbonated treat.
The ViruPure™ Filtration system filters more than 99% of even the smallest possible viruses, bacteria and cysts from drinking water and just one filter will last a family of four more than a year, replacing approximately 3,786 plastic water bottles, for a savings of about $3,270!
