It’s somewhat mind-blowing, really. Whether you live solo in a studio in New York City or house a family of four outside of San Fran, one thing is universal: every single surface in your dwelling, no matter how neat or clean freak-ish you are, still manages to get itself completely and utterly (and sometimes magically) dirty.

While we encourage staying planet-friendly all year ’round, we know that this week in particular is a special one. So in the spirit of Earth Week, we say this: take a look at what’s around you right now — the desk you’re sitting at, the kitchen counter you’re leaning on — and really rethink how you keep it all clean.
