ecofabulous Earth Day Guide
Date: April 21, 2009 | Category: Events, Guides

Earth Day 2009 is this Wednesday, April 22! This day marks the Anniversary of the first national “Earth Day” Demonstration that occurred in 1970.
The national rally was so effective, it got the environment on the political agenda and led to the formation of the EPA, and the passing of the Clean Air, Clean Water and Endangered Species Acts. Whether you’re a foodie, caring parent or a dedicated philanthropist (or all of the aforementioned), there are a number of ways to acknowledge this internationally important anniversary. Make sure to take a look at the Earth Day Network to see how you can get involved.
