L.B.D., As Easy As 1… 2… 365

Longtime fans of Sheena Matheiken’s Uniform Project (any lady that can style the same piece of clothing for an entire year goes down in the ecofab hall of fame!), we were beyond ecstatic to learn that she would be creating a limited line of the dress (365 of them, to be exact). Designed by the incredibly talented Eliza Starbuck, the iconic reversible dress is made from locally sourced remnant cotton and lined with a lightweight organic cotton, and produced locally at a registered NYC sample room. Paper-Thin Perfection
Date: March 18, 2010 | Category: Beauty, Skin Care

Hailing from the 300 year old beauty secret of geishas in Imperial Japan comes an all-natural and biodegradable oil-blotting sheet that is as exquisitely simple and effective as ever (isn’t that the case for all the best things in life?). Tatcha Aburatorigami blotting papers are large sheets (3.74″ x3/74″) of handmade 100% abaca leaf with small flecks of gold - this originally occurred as a by-product of the precious metal hammering done by craftsman that were creating super thin sheets to enrobe Japan’s extraordinary pavilions (makes a girl feel like royalty, no?).
