Firm your Fanny in Eco-Friendly Footwear
Date: July 15, 2008 | Category: Fashion, Women
I’ll confess that I bought my MBTs (which stands for “Masai Barefoot Technology” in honor of a fast-walking East African tribe) without realizing they were eco-friendly. A long-time consumer of animal-free and vintage products, I was so impressed with the innovative design and butt-firming ethos that I decided to make an exception. In fact, I actually hid them in my vegan
computer bag at work to avoid detection. When Zem informed me this morning that MBTs are, in fact, earth-friendly from cradle to cradle, I immediately emailed all
my friends!
I’ve now worn my trusted MBTs for over six months. Their forward-roll curve and fibrous breathability makes them comfortable for daily walks and even day-long mountain treks. Adding at least an inch-and-a-half of vertical grace, they also help me stand pretty and walk tall. While my southern dimpling has not entirely disappeared, there is a noticeable tautening. So, if you’ve been holding off on getting yourself a pair due to environmental concerns, we’re giving you the ecofab green light!
