From Recylcled to Upcycled

Shopping Goodwill’s second-hand apparel is definitely eco, but as for the fabulous part… well, it’s more miss than hit. That is, until now. Designer Nick Graham, the founder of Joe Boxer and Goodwill Industries in San Francisco, San Mateo and Marin Counties, launched his line of re-purposed clothing and accessories at LA Fashion Week last month, dubbed William Good. We held off mentioning it until today when it became available to the public via their website, shopwilliamgood.com, and in the Goodwill store on Fillmore in San Francisco. Graham’s team is transforming some of Goodwill’s donations - after a thorough cleaning - into embellished or completely original (meaning deconstructed and re-sewn) fashion one-offs. This is definitely one for the funksters out there, and we can’t wait to see what they come up with!
