Fair-Weather Fashion

Beautiful resort wear is a great mood elevator, which is why we were so thrilled to get a peek at Auralis’ gorgeous 2011 spring line. Puerto Rican native, Auralis Herrero, perfectly blended tropical colors and warm weather cuts with just a hint of New York urban appeal. The pieces are functional, and wearable - plus, just seeing the collection was like taking a Caribbean vacation.

While certain styles are reminiscent of the 70′s, the eco appeal is very “now.” Herrero uses sustainable materials like organic cotton, recycled PET, hemp, Ahimisa silk from India, and works with local artisans from New York that use vegetable-based dyes.

Available online, the Auralis collection retails between $150-$400. Here’s to counting down the days to warmer weather!
