Few will argue that hospital maternity gowns top the list of fashion’s worst nightmares - is there anything less stylish than a boxy cloth sack revealing your entire backside? Now add the fact that standard gowns are washed in all sorts of nasty chemicals in the name of “disinfectants” and you have one of the least desirable items to sport when welcoming in your new bundle of joy. Case Matters

While mainstream retailers can often be one of the harder places to spend consciously, American retailer, J.Crew, has recently given us a new shopping outlet. Known for it’s well-tailored, slightly preppy aesthetic, this season J.Crew has collaborated with the sophisticated WANT Les Essentials De La Vie accessories to produce an exclusive line of Ivy League-looking laptop cases and travel bags made from organic cotton and sustainably produced leather (read: vegetable tanned, rather than dyed with toxic chromium). Double, Double Toil and Trouble
