If there was ever a time your DIY skills were needed, that time is now. Yahoo! has just launched their “Make It Green” Campaign - the search for the best “green” do-it-yourself ideas.
The goal is to inspire people to pitch, share and vote on their favorite inventions as Yahoo! plans to turn the best ideas into actual products! If your idea is selected, you could receive $2,500, see the product on store shelves, get a share of the sales, and possible appear on the PBS TV show “Everyday Edisons.” Submissions close on June 30th, so put on your thinking caps and get to it!

I saw some great designs by students at the ICFF last weekend. They made a product for under a dollar by reusing all kinds of thing. See my favorite bright ideas at http://smalldwellings.blogspot.com/

Sounds like a great way to get the word out about the great green goods that are struggling to make it through.
