Go High-Def Green—No Hiking Boots Required

For those who think the green movement is low-media and anti-tech, we take special pleasure in spotlighting a rising star hiking down the green carpet. Ecofabulous welcomes Planet Green, the first (and only) 24-hour eco-lifestyle network dedicated to bringing the best of green living to a Plasma TV near you.

Co-sponsored by our friends at TreeHugger.com and the Discovery Channel, you’ll find fresh, fun shows on wining, dining and redesigning starring some of today’s leading eco pundits, tech gurus, fashionistas, celebrities and chefs with one unifying passion: The desire to inspire positive choices that sustain the beauty of the world around us.

We are especially pleased that our very own founder, Zem Joaquin (better known to the ecofabulous team as the Green Goddess), will appear on Planet Green’s signature eco-home makeover series, Alter Eco, hosted by Entourage’s Adrian Grenier, airing Monday nights at 9pm (PST) starting July 21st.

So whether you’re a total eco-holic or you’re trying to make a difference where you can, you are sure to find something enlightening for everyone in your family on Planet Green. And take our word for it, in less than an hour you’ll be clamoring for the great outdoors or, at least, a low-carbon outdoor grill.

I am also so excited about Planet Green, I had just heard about them while at Rothbury Music Festival this past weekend in Michigan. We were given ‘Proud to be an Eco-Maniac’ bags, advertising Planet Green.

And im SUPER excited for Alter Eco, I had a celebrity crush on Adrien Grenier even before I knew he was truely greener, if you will.

(haha sorry that was lame)

And I’m in love with your blog, I’m a textile design major at Philadelphia University and am hoping to start a line of sustainable textiles and prints.

Be well!
