I Sense Some Eco in Nokia’s Future
Date: January 16, 2008 | Category: Lifestyle, Tech
Nokia’s 3110 Evolve has already shown its eco-friendly faceplate here, so we weren’t surprised that the company had one of the greener booths at the annual Consumer Electronics Show, in Las Vegas, last week. Unfortunately, our favorite find at the Nokia booth is still in its concept stage, but let us paint the eco-picture for you. The Eco Sensor is not only a phone, but also a wearable sensor unit that measures and analyzes your health, environment and even the weather. Less than two inches in size, its design promises to minimize materials as well as source reclaimed or renewable elements. The Sensor’s makers are also considering renewable energy sources, such as solar power, to fuel the device. We might just have to put this Eco Necklace on our wish list for Valentine’s Day 2010 (we sure hope it is actually available by then).
