At the recent Wanderlust Festival in sunny Lake Tahoe, CA, ecofabulous got a chance to catch up with festival founders, Jeff Krasno and Schuyler Grant, as well as Andrew Vladeck and Adrian Grenier of The Honey Brothers (who rocked it up at Gold Coast on Sunday afternoon!). The 3-day yoga and music festival seamlessly combined holistic yoga programming with late night dance parties… what better way to spend your Saturday than taking a class with renowned yogi, John Friend, and then rockin’ to Girl Talk till the wee hours of the morning?!
Additionally, the entire production had a consistent “greening” theme that is promised to only grow in size and scope in future years - this year had a strong focus on sourcing local and organic food, waste reduction via streamlined recycling, composting, and landfill bins, and a heavy emphasis on the $5 carbon offset option available for purchase by ticket holders.
