Clean Un-Tech

Sliding off the 100% recycled sleeve with hip graphics (printed with soy inks of course) and unwrapping the reclaimed paper encasing SkinnySkinny’s bar of soap are the first steps in a truly refreshing experience. The all natural fragrance (derived from essential oils) fills the air, in this case the Lemon and Blood Orange Soap with Oatmeal. The ground oatmeal gently exfoliates, the fair trade unrefined cocoa butter and extra-virgin olive and coconut oils soften and moisturize, and the purity of the primarily organic ingredients (85-90%) is instantly felt. SkinnySkinny pioneer Clara Williams has an MFA in sculpture from Yale, and it shows - lending her products an astute artistic sensibility. Flogging mediocrity, she has handcrafted a product that we adore. She’s even using New Wind Energy. It doesn’t get any cleaner than that.

Hello. What a great blog! I first stumbled upon it a couple days ago and recognized your name as being an eco editor at House+Garden-I always enjoyed your and Laurie David’s column in the magazine. (Rest its beautiful soul.)
I recently began blogging about high-performing green and all-natural beauty products: Eco*Pretty, ecopretty.blogspot.com.
