LaBelle of the Ball

Primping and pampering before a big night out? Or simply long overdue for a little TLC? If you’re Bay area based, then make sure to book yourself in to the new eco-friendly LaBelle Day Spa in Palo Alto’s Town & Country Village center.

After a devastating fire in the shopping center, owner Bella Schneider saw the perfect opportunity to incorporate eco-friendly design as she rebuilt the day spa. Her desire to create a space that was much more than a beauty center, that would marry health and the environment, came to fruition while working closely with eco-designer Scott Cunningham. The new space utilizes beautiful cork and natural tapped rubber flooring, low VOC paint, locally built formaldehyde-free cabinets and an ecosmart fireplace.

Set up an appointment for the ginger & wasabi pedicure (tired feet will thank you!) or the fabulous wine & roses facial – or simply stop in to check out Bella’s newest line, Nature Organics. The exclusively plant-based line avoids all synthetic dyes, scents, silicone, paraffin, and petroleum.

Guests at the recent Discarded to Divine event received a sample of the Nature Organics Intensive Lift Body Lotion in the gift bag, and the essential oil-infused elixir was an absolute hit!

Next up for Bella? Putting the final touches on a new eco-friendly hair salon complete with reclaimed wood floors, FSC certified countertops and state-of-the-art organic hair treatments – conveniently located right next door to the Palo Alto day spa.
